Our story

Policy that's
built for people.

SimpleFix Nigeria was founded to close a long-standing gap between public policy and the real lives it shapes.

With over 133 million Nigerians classified as multidimensionally poor (NBS, 2022), and with many decisions made without transparency, citizen input, or grassroots reality, Nigeria's governance gap isn't a mystery — it's a consequence. Policy stays out of reach: buried in technical language, made in elite rooms, and detached from everyday life.

We exist to reverse that. We deliver public benefit through civic education, policy literacy and inclusive governance advocacy — translating the language of government into knowledge any Nigerian can understand, engage with, and act on, regardless of background, income or formal education.

Our tools are free and accessible — research briefs, podcast episodes, multilingual explainers — and we particularly prioritise the voices most often left out: youth, women, and persons with disabilities. The country is ours alone.

Chike Donald Ibewuike

Founder & Executive Director

A writer, community organiser and policy analyst. Chike founded the Cleaner FUTO Initiative in 2018, interned at the Cato Institute, and is a 2021 Pioneer alumnus of the #FixPolitics School of Politics, Policy and Governance. He has authored policy briefs tabled before the Nigerian House and Senate on student loans, state policing and local government autonomy. He holds a Master's in Research and Public Policy from the University of Lagos, with a dissertation building an original Strategic Readiness Index across 54 African countries. His writing has appeared in Business Day, The Republic Journal and African Qiraat.

Adebayo Anthonia Oyindamola

Research Lead & Host, Policy Corner

A cultural and health advocate with experience in community engagement, creative policy communication and research. Anthonia has worked with Havonia Limited on collaborations with UNICEF, GIZ and IOM, and volunteers with the Lagos State Council for Arts and Culture. She co-authored SimpleFix Nigeria's inaugural policy brief on SDG 5: Gender Equality in Nigeria, bringing expertise in gender policy, inclusive advocacy and evidence-based communication.
